When I was a child, I was often too stressed to fall asleep right away, but once I was asleep, I wanted to stay asleep. My ex-husband used to say that it was like trying to wake the dead. When I had fibromyalgia, my sleep cycle was all messed up. I would constantly wake up or sleep for 14 hours straight. Thankfully since my recovery over two decades ago, my sleep is usually very restful, and I can easily fall asleep.
However, that wasn’t the case Wednesday night. Both my husband and I woke up a lot, and the dreams were unpleasant, albeit not nightmarish. On some level, I knew that something needed healing, but I was too sleepy to ground back into my body to Divine Muscle Test. I kept hoping it would stop happening, but it didn’t. After waking up the next day, I took the time to find out what it was.
